I tried really hard to like this show. I like Jonah Hill who voices the title character, and I thought the premise had some potential, but the jokes just didn't work. It was too surreal and bizarre for my tastes. I thought there was a lot of comedy to mine in simple "fish out of water" plots, but it just went too far to be funny. An easy drop from my watch list. I think everything else is going to stick, though, so it was a pretty good new
TV season overall.
